Paranormal Researchers of Michigan
P.R.O.M. is a group of people from the Grand Rapids area who look at the paranormal from a scientific standpoint. We go to places that are considered to be "haunted" or have reported paranormal activity, and try to debunk and find other reasons for the things that people have experienced. Of course not all things can be debunked, and if we personally have experienced things that we can not explain away, we will label the place as having paranormal activity.
On a typical investigation, members of P.R.O.M. will use many different types of equipment that are useful in catching and providing proof of paranormal activity. IR camera's, digital recorders, EMF readers and many handheld camera's with nightshot are just a few examples of things that may be necessary at an investigation. Often times we will catch things like orbs, or reflections that look like figures and faces, but please look at our photo section for an explanation of why we do not consider these things to be proof of activity. P.R.O.M. also does not use mediums, psychics or strange feelings as evidence of activity, only what we catch on our equipment.
